Push Your Buttons

                                                                          Hoffman

I don’t want to push your buttons,

You do not want to push mine

Maybe if we work together,

We can find the

Locations of each other’s buttons,

As well as the loci of our own

And with a little light and some water,

Ooh they’ll grow like

Vines of gradual awareness,

That grow right up and out of our ears

It’s about time to release them

They’ve been stuck in there for years

They’ve been stuck in there for years

I don’t want to push your buttons,

You do not want to push mine

Maybe if we work together,

We can find the

Locations of each other’s buttons,

As well as the loci of our own

With a little light and some water,

Ooh they’ll grow like

Vines of gradual awareness,

That grow right up and out of our ears

It’s about time to release them

They’ve been stuck in there for years,

They’ve been stuck in there for years

They’ve been stuck in there for years

It, starts down in my toes,

Up my legs they go

Right on past my nose,

Out my ears they grow ooh ooh ooh

I don’t want to push your buttons,

you don’t want to push my buttons

They’ve been stuck in there for years,

They’ve been stuck in there for years

They’ve been stuck in there for years
