Left of the Center of Hope

Why do you make me feel guilty

Why must I blame it on you

Why do I question my motives

What makes me think like I do

When will I stop asking questions

From where come the answers so quick

How do I recognize insight

What makes me think I have it

What if itís true that after youíre dead

You wake up inside some babyís head

And as youíre acquiring critical thinking

Well you are forgetting everything

Everyone gets to be everyone else

Perhaps get to choose as if from a shelf

I could be you could be me too

Why will I make you feel guilty

Why will you blame it on me

Why do you question your motives

What make you see what you see

Aim a bit left of the center of hope

And end up whenever I do

Right in the middle of whatever happens

Just like the rest of em do

Everyone gets to be everyone else

Perhaps get to choose as if from a shelf

I could be you could be me too

Why will we all feel so guilty

Why so inclined towards blame

How do you figure our motives

It must be a circular game

So aim a bit left of the center of hope

And end up whenever you do

Right in the middle of whatever happens

Just like the rest of us do

Why do you make me feel guilty

Why must I blame it on you

Why do I question my motives

What makes me think like I do

When will I stop asking questions

From where come the answers so quick

How do I recognize insight

What makes me think I have it
